Indian Cooking has a lot of spice blends and purees/Chutneys.
This piece of kitchen ware is simply the best gadget that makes life easy for working professionals.
1. Easy to setup and use
2. Easy to clean
3. Ideal when cooking for 2 people as onions/tomatoes/chilly/garlic etc are quick & easy
4. Safe
Like to have in future versions:
1. Microwaveable base jar
2. Dishwasher compatibility
I recommend this to every working professional w

This chopper works okay. There is no way to secure the top so be careful not to knock it over. I'm not sure if I were to buy it again but it is serving its purpose.

As soon as we used this appliance it bothered us that some processed food that stuck to the lid could not be cleaned out properly. Why didn't they design it with a flexible liner that would permit activation and at the same time would not expose parts that cannot be washed even by hand. Well, we didn't need to worry for too long about hygiene since the darn thing stopped working altogether after only a few uses. For $20+ it's not worth returning it either. CAVEAT!

I'm kind of surprised by all the 5-star reviews this item has received. For me, the device is average, as it performs about the same as any other food processor does. I actually preferred my previous food processor - a Sunbeam Oskar. It was simpler to use and had fewer parts.
I guess the Cuisinart looks more impressive sitting on your counter, but I wouldn't call it easy to use. There are so many parts to look for, then attach, then clean afterwards. It's not easy to attach the main bowl t

I admit, i am not so great a reading instructions. Every time I read them, I fall asleep. But i still haven't been able to use my handy prep. the cord is too short so it doesn't reach across my stove to the work table. My other plug is on the floor in front of the counter and the cord isn't long enough to reach from the floor to the counter. So i tried preparing food on the floor, crawling around. But i still can't get it to work. It's my first time to try a food processor. I've heard so many great

I was a bit concerned this smaller cuisinart food processor wouldn't be vey functional but I was wrong.
I purchased it to chop carrots for our toothless bunny and it works great. Can't put too much carrot in at a time but this is more than sufficient for what I bought it for. The price is right and it's very handy.

The size of the unit was perfect for me. I didn't need multiple speeds or anything, so the simplicity of this is fine. I do have a few issues though:
Pros:
-Powerful motor, I don't think it will burn out any time soon
-Blade sits well on the rod (which was a defect on my last one from Black and Decker)
-Only two buttons - simple to use
-Works very very quickly
-Capacity is perfect for me
-Base seems sturdy
-Comes with a spiffy scraper, which comes in h

I purchased it to grind my urad dal for idlies and for small amounts of chutneys. it didnot grind urad dal into a fine paste. also if u add some dals as seasoning for chuyneys, its a failure. so its ok for chutneys witoiut dals. finally my purpose is not fulfilled completely
onions are not chopped equally. blender is a better option

I have really enjoyed this little food chopper, I had a Hamilton Beach one, but found it just did not work properly, it would turn chopped onions into mush. This actually chops onions perfectly.........as a matter of fact I used this to make salsa and never even broke out my cutting board, did it all in the food chopper. It looks great out on my counter and I get allot of comments on it, it is cute, it matches my big food processor !

Personally, I don't think this is a great product. It does serve it's purpose as a small appliance to quickly chop an onion, but the plastic container is cheap and flimsy. I question how long it will last. I do have a 12C wide mouth processor from Kitchen Aid. The plastic on that container was thicker and within 4 months, it had severely cracked and I had to order a replacement.
If you're looking for something that will quickly chop some things up (not uniformly), then this works and it doesn'

What a disappointment. I really wanted to like this machine for baby food making, however sometimes it just doesn't work. I mean it, sometimes it does not turn on, so my cooked baby food ends up in trash. I guess you cannot trust a machine for the brand all the time.

I like the fact the blade can move in both directions. I have used it several times since purchase and have had no problems.

The Cuisinart 4-Cup Mini Prep is great for simple light-weight jobs like making salad dressing and chopping onions, but when I use it with heavier foods (like cooked spinach) I can smell the motor burning. So to avoid motor burnout, I no longer use the Mini Prep to process even small quantities of high-density foods - a use limitation I hadn't anticipated.
Regarding capacity, keep in mind that although the total volume held by the work bowl is 4 cups, you really can't work in batches much over

I have been trying to find a food processor that finely blends green smoothies. This food processor left bigger chucks of food in my smoothies than my blender I bought from Walmart.
