After debating over what size processor to buy, my family is extremely happy with the 14 cup and the power that goes along with it. We have grated. We have made dough. We have even made fresh butter! It's more than we expected and honestly well worth the money. Just the ability to say that we made butter is cool enough - the other great features are just a bonus.

We had a lower quality processor that just wasn't worth pulling out of the cubbord. It's amazing when the unit is designed prop

Not recommended. Hard to use and has already developed a crack in the 1st year.

Looks nice on the counter but performance is hit or miss. Does ok with smoothies, but can take forever to puree & blend ingredients for sauces. I gave it to the Women's shelter and bought an Oster.

Just wanted to say that I appreciate the customer service representative that helped me recieve my product. There were problems with shipping the color (white) I ordered. I ordered this color because it was cheaper than the others and I wasn't going to leave it out on the counter anyway. After not seeing it shipped I contacted customer service and they said it wasn't available for shipping for at least a month. When I told her it was in stock supposedly, she said it wasn't and offered me a black one at t

I was wild about this food processor until about 6 months after use, I noticed that the handle was growing mold. I assume this is from liquid, either from processing or cleaning, seeped into the handle and could not dry out properly.

I looked everywhere for how to take apart the handle, even going back to the place of purchase and they said just to return it. They also said they have never heard of the compliant before so it may just be a lemon, but something to watch out for if you are goi

I waited over a year to purchase a food processor, and I wanted to get the best value. I read reviews for at least 5 similar models and ultimately decided on this one because of the high customer reviews. Now I don't know how to find out if a product is a good deal before purchasing, because this is a very low-quality product that somehow has gained user favor from reviewers.
The second time I used this item, I was doing so as instructed to make homemade Lara bars (fruit and nut). Although all atta

I replaced a "classical" Cuisinart with the FP-14 in the hope that it would struggle less with my favorite sourdough recipe. The FP-14 appeared to bog down far less than my old Cuisinart but smelled like it was on the verge of an electrical fire and finally popped the thermal safety. This is not what I expected with a machine that is supposed to have a capacity of seven cups of flour. All of this may be simply break-in woes, but at the moment I'll less than overjoyed. On a more positive note: I found t

I purchased this machine with high hopes in November 2009. I was making purees for my younger son and my old, 4 cup processor just was not cutting it. I saw this machine and thought it would be perfect. It promised excellent performance and I admit that I was taken by how lovely it was. I'm not a big kitchen gadget fan and like clear countertops, but I liked this for how it looked in addition to the promised performance. Unfortunately, I have not been 100% satisfied. It's really gorgeous, but for a $2

i have had this machine for under a yr...love the features but please do yourself a favor and do not buy it...1)the med bowl cracked after very limited usage, i rarely as in maybe twice...cusinart's solution?...$30 to replace it if out of warranty but since it's under the 3 yr warranty they want me to pay $17 for them to send me out a new one UNDER WARRANTY ..2)the lid has holes in it and food collects between the gasket and the plastic part of the lid...a lot of food particles collect there and are imposs

I love my KitchenAid food processor! It is classy, well built, it operates quietly and it saves me a ton of time. I ask myself how did I survive all these years without one? I am sooo overly excited about it!
This piece is built to last. I really recommend it! I'll be buying more extra discs for it. I'm hooked!
I would change just two things: Make the power cord retractable or at least have a way to coil it under it. No big deal... but the only way to hide it is to tuck it behind the thing. Als

We bought this Kitchenaid food processor recently and returned it. For many years, we had been using a Cuisinart food processor, but eventually it started to crack and needed to be replaced. We were planning on buying a Cuisinart replacement, but when I read the reviews for the 11-cup model, many people claimed it was not as good as the original and recommended the KitchenAid 9-cup processor. My wife uses the food processor to make pesto. When she tried to use it for pesto, she found that the top did no

Ordered this a couple years ago, for the price I was very surprised to see it was Made in China. Kitchenaid had always been American made and known for its top notch quality. Not anymore. I should've sent it back then and there, but for some reason I didn't.

At first I was impressed. Seemed quiet, powerful, and worked really well. After a few months of usage though the handle of the bowl started getting crud jammed in it and it's very difficult to open up and clean due to the idiotic nanny safe

This is an amazing food pro ever. I have used a couple before but never this quality. Excellent quality, beautiful design, looks great on my kitchen table, great machine. Absolutely love it. Does all the chopping, kneading, blending in seconds. A GREAT BUY! I wish they included the egg whipper too, but I ordered it separately. LOVE this product!

I should preface this review by saying that I've never owned a food processor before. When it came time to register for wedding gifts it seemed like an appliance that would save us time, but up to this point it's just too complicated and too big for 2 people to use. You know your appliance is complex when it comes with a 60 minute instructional DVD to introduce you to the features and 1000s of ways that you can use your appliance to better your life. The DVD was helpful with the assembly, which was very eas

Following the recommendations of Cooks Illustrated, I bought the 11-cup Prep Plus food processor two years ago, after having owned a Cuisinart DLC-8 food processor for about 20 years. This second food processor was for use on a boat, and I bought it primarily to multitask, incuding making bread. Storing a stand mixer was not practical. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the Prep Plus. Although it is supposed to have more capacity than the old processor, it seems to be underpowered for the size. I have yet t

I ordered this food processor because of the ratings. I took it with me on a retreat where we were feeding 125 hungry men. This was the first time putting it to a test and I give it 5 stars. We made slaw for one meal in a matter of minutes.Chopped walnuts for 16 pumpkin rolls. Sliced cucumbers, grated cheese, carrots and lots of other things and it never missed a beat. Before I got this machine we did everything by hand. This was a real time saver.I have also used it at home and find it very durable and easy t

I purchased this food processor because it had good reviews. when I received it the lid would not close. I went to Williams-Sonoma to look at the same model and the lid went on and off with ease. I returned the processor for a replacement, the second processor had the same problem. I called cuisinart and after going over every step of assembly we both determined that this was also faulty. amazon is great with returns, cuisinart not so much. their solution was to ship my brand new purchase to them for repair
